From San Francisco/Bay Bridge (I-80 East)

• Take I-80 East over Bay Bridge
• Take the I-580 East exit toward Downtown Oakland/Hayward/Stockton
• Take the I-980 exit toward Downtown Oakland and stay in right lanes
• Take 14th/18th Street exit
• After one block, turn left onto 17th Street
• Follow 17th Street for 3 blocks, then turn right onto Clay Street.
• A half of a block past 16th street, you will see the Clay Street Garage on your left.
• The Clay Street garage is directly behind City Hall.

From Oakland Airport/Hayward/South Bay (I-880 North)

• Take the Broadway exit into Oakland, follow Broadway for several blocks
• Turn left on 14th Street.

• Take Highway 24 toward Oakland and move into left lanes

• Take 14th/18th Street exit

Parking

The Dalziel Garage, accessible from 16th Street between Clay Street and San Pablo Avenue, will serve the parking needs of visitors to Oakland’s civic center. See a map of parking facilities in the area.

Free parking for City Council meetings held in the evening will be available at the Dalziel Garage. Meeting attendees may enter the garage after 4:30 p.m. for free. For Council Committee meetings, parking will be validated by the City Administrator's Office on the 3rd floor of City Hall.
